  • Began operations for genetic and breed improvement of domestic chicken.

  • Began artificial incubation using electric heating.

  • Consolidated farms to combat farming recession. Created a cooperative feed mill and GP center and began joint management of the Sanno Animal Husbandry Association. Received public recognition from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

  • Set a world production record of 317 eggs, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry recognized.

  • Set a new Japan record of 321 eggs, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry awarded.

  • Dispatched genetics engineers to America and England and imported selected layer breeds.

  • Set a post-war record of 300 eggs with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry at the breeding farm in Okazaki. Received an award from the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.

  • Set a world record with the production of 365 large eggs at the Toyama breeding farm.
1959
  • Set a world record for the second consecutive year with the production of 365 eggs at the Toyama breeding farm. Received an award for achievements in Japanese poultry farming and breeding.

  • Exported select breeds of chicks to Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
1963
  • Entered a special hatchery operation contract with Hy-line Corporation in America, the largest layer breeder in the world at the time and started producing and marketing Highline chicks. Also built a plant in Konosu, Saitama.
1965
  • Developed an egg production farm using the Tree Egg System (all-in, all-out system).
1966
  • Expanded the layer division and began replacement pullet operations in addition to breeder farms.
1967
  • Established a hatchery operation at the Konosu plant.
1970
1971
  • Established ISE Foods Inc. with headquarters in Konosu, Saitama Prefecture.
    Completed and began operations at the GP Center Plant in Nakaniida, Miyagi Prefecture.
1972
  • Completed ISE Foods Inc. headquarters building. Completed and began operations at the Yachiyo GP Center Plant.
1975
  • Completed and began operations at the GP Center Plants in Yokohama, Osaka, and Ryugasaki.
1977
  • Completed and began operations at the Shikama Farm with the latest equipment, which was the largest layer farm in Asia.

  • Began operations of the food processing and manufacturing in Nanao, Osaka and Ryugasaki.

  • Constructed and began operations at frozen food plant in Furudono, Fukushima Prefecture.
    Established ISE America, Inc. in New Jersey, USA. When on to become No. 2 in sales volume.
1981
  • Opened Tokyo office in Kanda Nishiki-cho, Tokyo. Started hog operations with 1,000 sows in Tokuda, Iwate Prefecture.
    Established our hog shipping system with annual capacity of 30,000 hogs, including another hog raising farm in Ibaraki Prefecture.
1983
  • Established Ise America Seaboard Foods in eight U.S. states. Established the Croton Farm.
1984
  • ISE America and Ise America Seaboard Foods become No. 1 in the U.S. in terms of total production and sales volume.
    Doubled production capacity at the Fukushima Plant by expanding and renovating facilities.
1985
  • Moved the Tokyo office to the ISE Foods headquarters building in Negishi, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
    Completed and began operations at the Ogawa GP Center Plant.
    Completed ISE America’s New Jersey farm.
    Doubled production volume at the Konosu GP Center Plant through renovations. Set a new company record in packaged egg sales volume.

  • Completed construction and began operations at the Niigata GP Center Plant.
1988
  • Completed environmentally controlled windowless and raised-floor poultry houses at the Ogawa, Hanna and Yachio farms.
1989
  • Developed the “Ise Egg,” which is rich in DHA. Successfully completed clinical testing of this egg at Kanagawa University. Began sales at major department stores.

  • Began sales of “MORI-TAMA” eggs.
1992
  • Completed and began operations at the Konosu chilled foods plant.
1993
  • Established Kazo Ryutsu Corporation and began operations at the Ryugasaki dairy plant. Began operations at Minori farm and constructed new Minori GP plant.
1997
  • Completed the first phase of expansion at the Fukushima plant. Completed new chilled food lines.
    "MORI-TAMA" became No. 1 in Japan in the sales of the brand-name egg category.

  • “MORI-TAMA” becomes the first egg to be recognized and certified as a nutritionally functioned food.

  • Began operations at Tsukuba Farm.

  • Began operations at the Ishioka PK plant.
    Began operations at Misaki Farm.

    Began liquid egg operations at the same time.

  • Began operations at the Ise Nojo’s GP Plant.
    License agreement with Disney. Began sales of “Disney Kurashi no Tamago” eggs.

  • Established the joint company “Ise Farms Co., Ltd.” for the sale and production of eggs with Mitsui Bussan in China.

  • “MORI-TAMA” celebrates the 20th anniversary of its release.
2011
  • Awarded the “Food Action Nippon Award 2010” in the product category.
2012
  • Celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the group’s founding.
2015
  • Held "Tamago Summit 2015 in Tokyo".
2016
  • Established "Ise Tamago Research Institute" in Taito-ku, Tokyo.
2017
  • Held "Tamago Summit 2017 in Hanoi".
    The first egg in Japan that lowers triglycerides, labelled "Foods for Specified Health Uses" by the Commissioner of the Consumer Affairs Agency, named "Ise no Tamago" has released.
    Hayama Farm Co., Ltd. has successfully recovered from the Great East Japan Earthquake and resumed operations for the first time in about eight years.

  • "Mori no Tamago" celebrates its 30th anniversary.
  • Moved the head office to Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

  • Began operations at Ogawa Washing Center.

  • ISE Foods Inc. started corporate rehabilitation proceedings.
  • SMBC Capital Partners Co., Ltd. has selected as the sponsor.

  • The reorganization plan has decided (approved by the Tokyo district court), and the investment from the sponsors has completed.
    Started business development in Taiwan.
    10 group companies merged, and established Tamago & Farmers Inc.
